Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 + overtime
Location: Static, large commercial site
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm)
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and emergency systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, implementing timely and effective solutions to minimise downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities to extend the lifespan of electrical equipment and systems, including: UPS, transformers, circuit breakers, distribution boards/panels, and HVAC power supply.
- Collaborate with the wider team to carry out electrical projects, upgrades, and minor installation works.
- Stay current with industry standards, codes, and regulations, ensuring compliance in all electrical maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and service reports.
Requirements:
- NVQ / C&G Level 3 in electrical installation and/or Level 3 electrical apprenticeship.
- 17th or 18th edition.
- Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
