Position Summary: Johnson & Johnson Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO) is recruiting for a Director, External Innovation, in Horsham, PA. The Director will lead the Immunology Therapeutic Areaβs efforts in developing Target Product Profiles (TPPs) to support Business Development opportunities, ensuring maximum commercial potential and global market access. This involves collaboration with R&D, Commercial, and other functions, and regularly updating TPPs with latest data and insights. Additional responsibilities include developing competitive landscapes, supporting market research projects, and providing commercial leadership for preclinical R&D and early-stage Discovery programs to ensure assets are differentiated and address unmet needs.
The candidate should be a strong cross-functional leader, capable of leading and participating in teams, aligning with regional and global colleagues, and effectively communicating complex data and strategies. Strong presentation and influencing skills are essential for gaining approvals from senior management bodies.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD, etc.) required.
- At least 10 years of professional experience required.
- Minimum 5 years in strategic marketing and/or medical affairs required.
- Deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, marketing, and drug development required.
- Experience in Immunology and Business Development preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills required.
- Knowledge of global markets and market access strategies preferred.
- Ability to interpret complex data and influence decision-making required.
This role is based in Horsham, PA, with 20-30% travel.
