The Job You’ll Do

  • Day-to-day stock control and inventory management
  • Placing and tracking purchase orders with suppliers
  • Booking goods into the system upon delivery
  • Setting up and maintaining product records in the system
  • Liaising with the marketing team to keep website listings up to date
  • Communicating lead times to sales staff and customers
  • Assisting the Operations Director with developing and maintaining core product ranges
  • Working with suppliers to negotiate the best possible pricing and terms
  • Supporting general purchasing and administrative tasks
  • Answering phones and dealing with incoming enquiries as needed

About You

  • Previous experience in a procurement, stock control or admin role preferred
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Able to work full-time from the company’s office in Middlesbrough
