Role Overview
The Space & Service Coordinator will deliver exceptional service through operational and logistical facilities management. This role involves representing the FIRST brand on-site at a well-known tech company and is suitable for entry-level candidates seeking exposure to the events industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple campus event requests and optimize space allocation
- Assign event team members to digital and physical requests
- Oversee the centralized intake queue for all events in the region
- Review requests to determine support needs and assign resources
- Maintain updated calendars and communication for all meetings and events
- Gather necessary information for approval processes
- Ensure accurate records of changes and communications with stakeholders
- Monitor room usage, cancellations, and availability to maximize revenue and satisfaction
- Audit spaces and communicate effectively with event leads
- Improve intake processes and contribute to event data reports
Qualifications
- 0-1+ years’ experience in event coordination, including internships, preferably in large venues or hotels
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Flexibility to support multiple locations within the campus
- Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments
- Creative problem-solving, resourcefulness, and teamwork skills
- Highly organized with multitasking abilities
- Excellent time management and proactive attitude
- Experience with large databases
- Fluent in English; German language skills preferred
- Ability to work onsite and flexible deployment across campus
