The Electronics Group is the UK's leading provider of electronics manufacturing support services. We provide businesses of all shapes and sizes with training, recruitment and manufacturing consultancy solutions. Since 2003 we have operated from our Leeds head office and have successfully serviced the industry's needs. However, in 2024 we became the first and only accredited IPC training centre to open a second site. Our new location in Cirencester is going from strength to strength, and now we need to continue that.
We are looking for an Account Manager to join the business on a full-time basis. Due to the nature of our business, our roles are office based. This role is a key position in our business as this is the focal point for our customers, and you'll be one of the main points of contact for enquiries. This role is an Account Manager role with a large element of sales activity required.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries and bookings
- Consult with clients to provide the best solution to their needs
- Manage the full booking process
- Ensure complete accuracy with quotes, bookings and invoicing
- Be a brand ambassador for the business
- Attend sales events and roadshows
- Work with the General Manager to grow the business
- Become an expert in our products and become the go-to person for internal and external queries
- Work closely with the Training Manager to manage schedules
- General administrative and office-based tasks
- Experience in sales and account management - 2 years minimum
- Great customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Willing to learn new products and services
- Organised and flexible
- Autonomous and able to use own initiative to make decisions
- Starting salary of £27,000 - £34,000 dependant on experience
