My client, a large, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for a Graduate Civil Engineer with a focus on Flood Risk and Drainage to join their growing team of engineering and design experts, near the exciting, northern Market Town of Barnsley.
Essential Criteria:
- A Degree in Civil Engineering
- Knowledge of flood risk and drainage strategies, including Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs), and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
- Working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (including S104, S106, etc.)
- Knowledge of InfoWorks ICM, TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, InfoDrainage, and other software packages
- The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
- A willingness to learn and consistently develop technical skills through direct, hands-on experience
It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Graduate Civil Engineer to have the following:
- Some professional experience, particularly with flood risk and drainage
- Working knowledge of a range of additional relevant software packages
