We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant & Bar Manager to join our New Forest Collection team. As the Restaurant & Bar Manager at Bartley Lodge Hotel, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Restaurant & Bar operations, including managing a team of food and beverage assistants and supervisors. You will work closely with our Head Chef to ensure that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and train a team of Food and Beverage Assistants and Supervisors
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Manage budgets for Restaurant & Bar operations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Oversee the scheduling of staff
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve conflicts
  • Ensure that all Restaurant & Bar offerings meet or exceed guest expectations

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and best practices
  • Experience with inventory management and budgeting
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
