About The Role
As a Lecturer in Accountancy, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching across our AAT and professional programmes. You will be responsible for lesson planning, curriculum development, assessment, and supporting learners to achieve their full potential. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our provision and work closely with colleagues and external partners to ensure an outstanding student experience.
Actual Salary: £26,656.05 - £34,750.98 per annum
Working Hours: 30 hours per week (evening work is required - 9pm the latest)
Essential Criteria
- A relevant Accountancy qualification at Level 3 or above
- A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve one)
- Minimum Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy
- Relevant industry experience in accountancy
- Strong organisational, communication, and analytical skills
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive teaching, learning and assessment
- Develop curriculum materials and contribute to course planning
- Monitor and support student progress, attendance and achievement
- Participate in quality assurance processes and course evaluation
- Support student recruitment, guidance, and progression activities
