A highly regarded law firm with a strong presence across the North West is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their dynamic and supportive team. The successful candidate will handle a full residential conveyancing caseload independently while also working as part of a collaborative department. You will be the main point of contact for clients and third parties and will play a key role in ensuring high standards of service and client care throughout the transaction process.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the primary contact for clients in the absence of the Head of Department
- Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders
- Handle a full caseload of residential conveyancing files, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages, transfers of equity, new builds, Help to Buy, Right to Buy, and shared ownership
- A strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process and technical title issues
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proficient typing ability and strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word
- Ability to manage and progress files independently
- High level of attention to detail and client care
- Proactive and professional approach with the ability to work well under pressure
- A minimum of 4 years experience handling residential conveyancing files
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with self-motivation and reliability
- Experience using legal case management systems
- Strong interpersonal skills and commercial awareness
