An ambitious and well-established law firm is seeking a skilled Corporate-Commercial Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join its expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a high-quality client base from innovative start-ups and entrepreneurs to large corporates across a full spectrum of corporate and commercial matters.
The role offers hybrid working, with the flexibility to work remotely combined with regular in-office collaboration (typically 2-3 days per week), supporting a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:- Corporate:
- Advise on all forms of corporate transactions across various sectors
- Lead and support on mergers & acquisitions, disposals, private equity deals, joint ventures, and shareholder arrangements
- Handle transaction due diligence, re-organisations, demergers, and advise on corporate structures and governance
- Draft, review, and negotiate bespoke contracts tailored to each client's unique requirements
- Identify legal risks and ensure full regulatory compliance across all transactions
- Advise on lease arrangements, landlord and tenant matters, and property-related disputes
- Liaise with real estate, finance, and litigation teams for integrated service delivery
- Build long-term client relationships through commercial, solutions-driven legal advice
- Mentor junior colleagues and support a well-structured, efficient legal team
- Contribute to business development and cross-department collaboration
You’ll be a confident, commercially minded solicitor with:
- 5+ years PQE in corporate and/or commercial law
- Broad experience in complex corporate transactions and governance issues
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and high attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple matters under pressure with a calm, professional approach
