The Role
Vospers are recruiting for a SMART Repair Technician to cover repairs at our Truro dealership.
Key Responsibilities & Accountability
- Carrying out a variety of cosmetic repairs including stripping, refurbishing, and fitting parts to damaged vehicles.
- Act as a multi-skilled Smart Repair Technician undertaking all aspects of the repair as required.
- Work effectively and achieve Departmental targets.
- Full use of PPE and adherence to health and safety requirements when carrying out repairs.
- Smart Repairer must adhere to manufacturer repair guidelines when carrying out repairs.
- Liaise with other internal colleagues to ensure effective communication and teamworking.
- Smart Repairer must ensure any administration or supporting documentation is produced in line with company process.
- Ensure efficient working by adhering to defined repair completion time.
Qualifications/Skills
- Must have a valid UK driving licence.
- You will have previous experience as a Smart Repairer or Multi Skilled Technician, or in a specialist Bodyshop productive role such as a Painter or MET Technician.
- An industry recognised qualification is a distinct advantage.
- You must be a strong team player with self-motivation.
- You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
