The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
Fitting of junction boxes, conduits, basket tray and full wiring of the Baker Perkins range of equipment. Wiring of 3 phase motors, power and control, safety switches and various on machine devices from schematic drawings and BOMs. Assist with the setup and testing of finished equipment and complete test records. Operate portable hand tools for drilling, grinding and sanding etc. Work within planned times for jobs, and feedback deviations when necessary. To register their job time each day using the company ERP system (time booking). Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, assisting with minor mechanical fitting as required. Support electrical work within the on site maintenance team when required. To be aware of and follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures including feeding back any H&S information to management. Maintain a safe and tidy working environment and report any hazards. Be aware of and demonstrate the company values and behaviours. To supply feedback on machine and process improvements. To provide feedback on drawing and parts list queries for future updates. Able to interpret drawings and specifications. Aware of the latest electrical regulations. Have a flexible approach to undertake various tasks required in the Fitting Shop, on customers’ sites or elsewhere as required. Have experience in machine wiring. Attention to quality and detail. Able to work well within a team environment and to offer improvement ideas. Able to use various electrical equipment to check and set components. A high degree of self-motivation. Flexibility to work additional hours when required.
