We are currently recruiting for a Welder/Fabricator for our client who offers rental equipment and managed services to various sectors, including construction, infrastructure, industrial, events, facilities management, and government.
As a Welder/Fabricator your duties will be:
- Carrying out structural welds i.e., coding in MAG fillet welds and Butt welds.
- Fabricating hoist accessories such as gates, enclosures, and weld repairs of equipment.
- Mainly MIG welding, however, some Stick welding may be involved.
- Reading and understanding engineering drawings in order to fabricate equipment to the design specifications.
The successful Welder/Fabricator will have the following skills:
- Must be a qualified Welder/Fabricator.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Ideally have coding's to carry out structural welds but not essential.
- Good attention to detail.
- Work well as part of a team as well as individually.
