Langley has a fantastic opportunity for an organised and client focussed Approved Premises Residential Intervention Worker with good communication and interpersonal skills to join our busy and friendly team in Bradford. This role is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week (3x12.5 hour shifts). The successful candidate will receive a salary of £33,812 per annum. This is an ideal role for someone with experience of working within the criminal justice system in the UK.
Box Tree Independent Approved Premises is primarily for offenders who have been released on licence through the criminal justice sector, and who require a high level of supervision. We play a crucial role in supporting the management of offenders in their transition from custody into the community, to achieve successful resettlement. We assist with the well-being and supervision of Approved Premises residents, helping them to adhere to their license conditions and supporting them to keep themselves and others safe. We regularly carry out inspections, monitor behaviour and positively engage with residents, working closely with colleagues and in partnership with organisations across the criminal justice sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The post holder will undertake the full range of work with People on Probation after sentence. This will include assessment, sentence implementation and offender management. The post holder will provide case management support to a full range of People on Probation utilising service procedures and practice directions that underpin professional judgement.
- They will support People on Probation to live more independent and crime free lives by transforming their lives by the delivery of specialised and personalised interventions. To work with the team to support the re-integration of clients into the community.
- Communicate effectively with Probation Practitioners.
- Work closely with Prison Offender Managers to prepare People on Probation for release into the community.
- Deliver individual Keywork Sessions and Group work.
- Effectively utilise provided ICT Platforms in order to communicate external service.
A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check is required for this role and job offers will be subject to the Trust receiving satisfactory evidence of the successful applicant’s right to work in the UK.
