Our Maxim department are excited to announce that we are looking for a team member to join as a Coach/Mentor in Construction. We are seeking a passionate and experienced candidate to join our dedicated team. Join us in shaping the future of our students and make a lasting impact with Macclesfield College!
The Role: To coach and mentor a range of learners who are studying apprenticeship programmes in wood, brick or property maintenance and Multi skills. To support learners on a one to one basis, working with the teaching staff who deliver the qualification to ensure that learners are attending classes and are progressing appropriately. There will be an element of teaching to apprentice learners on the Multi skills programme. Complete reviews with learners and employers out in the workplace to ensure that all learners are working in a safe environment and are making progress in their apprenticeship role in the workplace.
Main Duties for this role include:
- To support apprentices using an appropriate range of methods to facilitate and support learning and achievement.
- To plan & deliver teaching, learning and assessment for apprentices on the Multi skills programme using the appropriate college format to ensure effective learning.
- To complete sign up and review fulfilling all audit requirements.
- To identify individual training needs and to organise training to achieve planned outcomes within defined timescales in line with College processes and procedures.
