HiQ Tyres & Autocare has an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Centre Manager to join the team in our Worcester Centre. The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis, Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm – half a day finish on a Saturday. This is a hands-on role, so technical/mechanical knowledge is essential. Salary negotiable, depending on skills and experience.

What you will be doing as an Assistant Centre Manager:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of automotive technical staff, ensuring they are adequately resourced and skilled to meet Company and customer objectives.
  • Foster a high-performance, harmonized culture where achievements are celebrated, and underperformance is effectively managed.
  • Ensure that operational performance consistently meets Company and customer KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
  • Oversee stores costs and margins, driving improvements where necessary.
  • Maximise profit and turnover through effective resource management and operational excellence.
  • Set clear objectives for each department, with planning and execution to ensure targets are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and deliver strategies that align with the Company's broader objectives, ensuring business goals are consistently achieved.
  • Support the Company in achieving consistently high levels of customer satisfaction and building strong customer relationships.
  • Plan and coordinate key merchandising activities, ensuring robust stock management routines are in place.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Solid understanding of operational performance management and KPIs.
  • Experience in managing costs, margins, and maximising profitability.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with customers and internal stakeholders.
