We are currently recruiting for an experienced forklift driver to join our client in Irvine. This is a long term role for a candidate who has a current, in date counterbalance licence and competent driving skills gained from experience in a similar environment.
Responsibilities / Duties
- Transport raw materials and finished goods to designated areas
- Feed production line with materials required for production
- Transporting finished goods from end of production to warehouse
- Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company Health and Safety requirements
- Restock and replenish as appropriate
- General warehouse duties, as required
Experience / Skills
- Minimum 2 years driving experience
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Experience of using computer stock control systems would be an advantage but is not essential
- The position requires an ability to work under minimal supervision along with a high level of motivation
