Are you passionate and committed to the delivery of excellent customer service? Are you a motivated and enthusiastic individual looking to invest in your personal and professional development? Are you currently studying a degree which includes a 1 year paid placement?

If so, here at Hastings Hotels, Northern Ireland's leading hotel group, we have an amazing opportunity for you to apply for a 1 year paid Student Placement in our People & Culture team.

The successful candidate can expect to work 35 hours per week (excluding breaks), five shifts out of seven. Hours vary depending on the role. The rate of pay for this full-time position is £22,568.

About The Role
  • Continuous guidance under the leadership, coaching and mentoring of the experienced team of HR Professionals
  • To offer a professional hands-on approach, with particular emphasis on People Administration and Management
  • Take responsibility for developing your knowledge and skills
  • Support and motivate team members to enable them to provide exceptional customer service
  • To comply with all health, safety, hygiene and licensing policies and procedures
  • Support the People & Culture managers achieve departmental objectives
  • To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity
  • To be fully conversant with our culture, working practices and product knowledge
  • To be knowledgeable about the facilities and services within the hotel and be proactive in the sale of these to guests
  • Any other duties as required
About You

We would love you to have similar previous experience but this is not essential as we will provide you with full training.
