A permanent vacancy has arisen within our clients Production Engineering Section for Fabricators & Welders, please note the main base for this position is Falkirk.

Rate of Pay (Permanent) - Up to £19ph, 39 hours pw with guaranteed O/T (Time & a half) PAYE.

Requirements:
  • Fabricate steel components from fabrication drawings (beams, brackets, staircases, platforms, etc.).
  • Ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Previous experience in steel fabrication (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
  • Skilled with hand tools, fabrication machinery, and measuring equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • CSCS card or equivalent health and safety qualification (preferred).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Weld and fabricate structural steel components including beams, columns, and frame.
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings.
  • Conduct visual weld inspections and quality checks.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in structural steel welding and fabrication.
  • Proficiency in MIG Welding.
  • Valid welding certifications, CSCS card would be an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
