Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Warehouse / Stores Person to join our busy Warehousing Department. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and logistics functions. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient handling, picking, issuing, and dispatching of materials to meet internal and external requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive deliveries, check quantities, record and receipt materials
  • Pick and pack parts accurately for customer and internal orders
  • Dispatch customer orders with all required documentation
  • Issue materials to jobs and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in regular cycle counts and stocktaking activities
  • Liaise with other departments via email and internal systems
  • Adhere to Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times
  • Support and represent team values and company core values
  • Carry out additional duties as directed by the Warehouse Team Leader
  • Work collaboratively as a dependable and proactive team member

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

Essential:

  • Physically fit for active work in a warehouse environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good IT skills, including experience with systems such as Epicor or SAP
  • Licences and experience with FLT (Counterbalance), pedestrian trucks, and pallet trucks
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented, and self-motivated

Desirable:

  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Any previous inspection experience is a plus
