We are now looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- A mixture of NDC trunking, container work from ports to DC's, outlet deliveries and store deliveries
- On average 2 drops per shift
- Clothing & Home products – cages, hanging rails + totes
- Responsible for loading/unloading – manual handling required
- Shunting in the yard when required
- Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
This Role Would Suit People Who:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Ideally have 2 years recent driving experience
- Be physically fit due to manual handling requirements
