Pay Rate: £40,952.41 plus overtime is available at time and a half

Shift patterns: Tuesday to Saturday starting at 8:30pm

Location: Castle Donington, DE74 2HL

We are now looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

  • A mixture of NDC trunking, container work from ports to DC's, outlet deliveries and store deliveries
  • On average 2 drops per shift
  • Clothing & Home products – cages, hanging rails + totes
  • Responsible for loading/unloading – manual handling required
  • Shunting in the yard when required
  • Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
  • Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

This Role Would Suit People Who:

  • Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Ideally have 2 years recent driving experience
  • Be physically fit due to manual handling requirements
