Brook Street are working with a highly reputable lending firm who are looking for a BDM/Branch Manager to join their experienced team. The role consists of 85% front line mortgage sales management and 15% people management. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday and is offering between £35,000 – £40,000 for the right candidates. Responsibilities: Generate quality mortgage business by establishing and managing relationships with intermediaries and corporate businesses. Provide a compliant and effective direct mortgage service to customers. Ensure efficient operation of the Branch while achieving mortgage and savings targets. Adhere to established procedures and policies, ensuring professional conduct among staff. Offer feedback and guidance to improve team performance and productivity. Support the training and development of team members to enhance their skills. Maintain clear communication regarding changes affecting staff roles. Ensure compliance with health & safety and security requirements. Conduct annual appraisals for reporting staff and follow up on their progress. Recommend and sell a full range of mortgage products to customers. Identify new business opportunities from existing customers and secure retention of custom. Develop a network of intermediary contacts to facilitate quality mortgage business.
