Opportunity for an experienced assistant quantity surveyor to join a reputable main contractor with nearly 50 years in the industry working on privately owned buildings and commercial fit-out and refurbishments. Projects are spread across London and the southeast with contract values ranging from £100,000 to £100 million. Initially, an AQS is needed to join a team of 4 surveyors working on a £60 million 10 floor cut and carve in Central London. This will then be followed by a CAT A and B fit out.
Responsibilities for Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
- Working from the PCSA/2 Stage tender process, to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accounts.
- Managing Packages.
- Not a client facing role, so need to be comfortable with contractual works.
- Site Meetings.
