Senior Credit Control Role Overview
NC Associates are excited to be partnering with a leading and growing organisation in Chester City Centre to recruit an experienced Credit Controller. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and results-driven individual to join a dynamic finance team in a people-focused business offering great career development. Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will play a key role in managing the company's Credit Control function and maintaining a strong ledger.
Senior Credit Controller Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively chasing current and aged debt via telephone and email, ensuring prompt payments.
- Working to individual revenue targets to ensure overall team efficiency.
- Reporting on ledger balances and providing updates to management.
- Managing problematic debt, taking necessary action and escalating as required.
- Query resolution regarding billing errors, working with the wider Finance Team.
- Supporting cash allocation processes.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For:
- At least 2 years of experience in a B2B Credit Control role.
- A motivated and target-driven approach to debt collection.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain strong relationships.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage workload effectively.
- Strong Excel skills and experience using finance systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Passion for developing a long-term career in Credit Control.
