Head of CDM / Principal Designer (PD) Services required to lead and grow service delivery for a national building consultancy, specialising in building control, safety and compliance. This is a key leadership role within the consultancy, reporting directly to the Board. The role requires you to be within commutable distance to their London office.
As Head of CDM / PD Services, you will:
- Lead the CDM and Principal Designer service line across a diverse portfolio of public and private sector clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, supporting their compliance with CDM 2015 Regulations from concept through to completion.
- Manage, mentor and grow a team of CDM and PD professionals across multiple offices.
- Develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
- Drive technical excellence, innovation and continuous improvement across Health and Safety delivery.
- Ensure robust governance, quality assurance and risk management systems are in place.
Qualifications and Memberships:
- Chartered or Incorporated status with a relevant professional body (e.g., IOSH, APS, RICS, CIOB) preferred.
- Degree/Diploma qualifications in a relevant subject i.e. Health and Safety, construction, design.
Experience:
- A proven track record in delivering CDM (2015) / Principal Designer services on complex construction and property projects.
- Proven leadership, team management experience.
