We are seeking an enthusiastic and clinically skilled Bank Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join the EMS Healthcare Clinical Trials Unit. This role supports the delivery of cutting-edge research studies on our mobile healthcare units, with a primary focus on participant-facing procedures and data collection.

The successful candidate must demonstrate core clinical competencies, including phlebotomy, ECG, blood pressure monitoring, and general clinical observations, and will play a key role in supporting high-quality, protocol-compliant trial delivery. A flexible attitude and willingness to travel at short notice are essential.

Requirements
  • Experience - Essential
  • Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in a clinical or research environment
  • Competency in phlebotomy, ECG, and taking vital signs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate, participant-centred approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of clinical care
  • Experience - Preferable
    • Prior experience working in research or mobile/community healthcare settings
    • Familiarity with clinical documentation and sample handling protocols
