We are currently looking for Window and Door Fitters to join our successful Response Maintenance Business based in Thornaby on Tees area. While you will be working independently on-site, you are very much part of a supportive and collaborative team. The Window and Door Fitter role:
- Completion of full domestic (composite) door and window (single and double glazed) fits. You will install and fit new as well as complete repairs and maintenance works where required and appropriate.
- You will be working with UPVC, metal or wooden fittings.
- You will take pride in delivering an exceptional level of customer service; ensuring you are providing updates and always considering the customer’s needs, whilst being able to complete your works within agreed timescales.
- Yours, the team and the customers Health and Safety will be at the forefront of everything you do, ensuring all working environments are safe and the relevant documentation is completed at all stages.
What will you bring as a Window & Door Fitter?
- Qualified to an NVQ 2 level in Carpentry, or similar/relatable Trade and professional body.
- Experience of fitting domestic doors and windows to a quality standard.
- Motivated in your approach to work, and able to work to individual and team output targets.
- A good demeanour with the ability to converse with the public and residents in a professional and friendly manner.
- Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, which is essential to undertake the Window and Door Fitter role - company van will be provided.
