Your role
Based at Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire. Working pattern: 5 days a week onsite, with some flexibility once embedded into the role. Core hours are between 8am to 6pm.
Our Fabric Technology team ensures the quality of Next products is of the highest standard. You will work alongside Designers, Buyers, Merchandisers, and Garment Technologists. The knitwear product area within Menswear is vast and exciting, perfect for the right candidate. This role involves travelling to factories, sourcing fabric and yarns, and developing and elevating quality standards. We seek someone with extensive knowledge and proven experience in yarn and fabric technology. Innovation is key at Next, and this role offers great opportunities to drive fabric/yarn development, set standards, and work with suppliers. You will be an integral part of the product team, guiding decisions in line with legal requirements and Next guidelines.
About you
You are a team player with excellent people skills, capable of working collaboratively and independently. You possess extensive technical experience and an exceptional eye for detail, with qualifications and experience in fabric technology. You communicate effectively within a multifunctional team and have a strong understanding of fabric performance and technical knowledge.
