Start Date: as soon as possible

Days and Hours: Averaging 35 hours a week; afternoons term-time, 2.00pm to 7.30pm, and full days during holidays and inset days, 08.00am to 7.30pm.

Emma is a bright and happy 13 year old who loves swimming, films, eating out at cafes and being involved with activities such as cooking or making friendship bands. Emma has cerebral palsy and requires help for all her physical needs.

The role includes supporting Emma with her physical needs, implementing physio and stretches, furthering her communication skills through PODD books and enabling interesting and enjoyable activities. Emma is on medicine to reduce her tone. She eats orally – and loves her food!

This job will suit an outgoing, positive and proactive candidate who has a genuine interest in supporting Emma and will enjoy spending time with her. Someone who likes dogs is a must; the family have a friendly Cockapoo.

This is a very warm and welcoming family well-known to Snap. They offer an excellent package that includes generous holidays, time off and training opportunities.
