About the Role
As a Community Organiser, you will be the local caretaker of our community network, engaging with vegans and the wider public to promote vegan living through campaigns, outreach, and education.
Key Activities
- Coordinate local outreach activities and events
- Engage with shops, restaurants, and MPs to promote vegan options and policies
- Distribute vegan informational materials and recipes
- Support and motivate local Advocates and volunteers
What We're Looking For
- Excellent organisational skills and experience in coordinating groups
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong motivation to promote vegan issues
- Good communication skills and ability to motivate others
- Knowledge of vegan issues
- Access to a vehicle is beneficial but not essential
Training and Support
Initial remote training, ongoing resources, regular check-ins, and support from staff via phone and email. Full induction and gradual responsibility increase provided.
Time Commitment
Approximately two days per month, with tasks spread throughout the month. Prompt communication via email is expected.
