We are currently recruiting on behalf of a logistics company for an experienced Class 1 & Shunter Driver to join their team in Raunds. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious driver looking for long-term work with a respected local employer.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicles for on-site and local deliveries
- Carry out shunting duties within the yard and between nearby company sites
- Complete vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and logs
- Work closely with the transport and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
- Follow all company and legal safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with up-to-date CPC and digital tacho card
- A good understanding of vehicle safety and yard protocols
- Flexible attitude and a willingness to support wider transport operations
- A maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN endorsements)
- A minimum of 2 years experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Full-time, Temp to perm. On-site parking and facilities available. All applicants must have 1 year UK experience valid CE / CPC / Digi Card UK & References.
