A leading food manufacturer is currently seeking an organised and proactive Engineering Stores Coordinator to support their Engineering department at a fast-paced production site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong stock control, purchasing, and administrative experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

The Role...

Reporting to the Assistant Engineering Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping engineering operations running smoothly. From managing spare parts inventory and placing orders, to coordinating with suppliers and supporting contractor visits, you'll be at the heart of the department’s day-to-day efficiency.

Key Responsibilities...

  • Manage stock levels for engineering parts and materials
  • Raise purchase orders and process goods received through the maintenance management system (MMS)
  • Maintain accurate records, spreadsheets, and documentation
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments across multiple sites
  • Coordinate external service visits and ensure contractor compliance (permits, sign-ins, etc.)
  • Support asset control for site machinery
  • Monitor and report on budget, stock usage, and KPIs
  • Assist in internal/external audits and ensure documentation is kept up to date
