Sirona Medical Social Work department recruits Social Workers, ranging from entry-level positions to Head of Service.

Position overview

We are currently looking for a qualified and motivated social worker to join the children's higher grade social worker in Portsmouth. This is a Hybrid role with 2-3 days in the office. This role is within the Fostering Support Team; the core business being support and development of approved mainstream and kinship Foster Carers. Our service is committed to high standards and a culture of restorative practice. We are continuing to increase foster carer numbers and the menu of support to carers year on year. This is an exciting time to join Portsmouth City Council Fostering Service as we strive to further enhance outcomes for looked after children in the city; an example of this is a number of staff are DDP trained.
