We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Scheduler to join our team in Boston, MA. This role plays a vital part in ensuring project timelines, budgets, and resources are effectively managed to achieve project goals. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in scheduling and project controls, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment. This role will be operating in a remote model, but you MUST be local to the Greater Boston Area.

Every day, we support our clients by steering major Projects and Programs, managing Project Portfolios, improving maturity and efficiency of PM Organizations, and addressing business transformation and change management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule Development & Management: Create, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Project Monitoring: Track project progress against established baselines, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular status reports, including progress, forecast, and resource utilization.
- Cost Controls: Assist in budget tracking, cost variance analysis, and forecasting to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Risk Analysis: Identify potential risks to project schedules and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure alignment and communication of project goals.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project changes, schedule updates, and related documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–10 years of experience in project scheduling and/or project controls.
- Proficiency with scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Experience in industries such as construction, engineering, energy, or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMI-SP, PMP) or scheduling (e.g., PSP) is a plus.
- Working knowledge of cost control software or tools.
- MUST be local to Boston, MA.
