SDUK's brands include the Nations favourite cheese brand Cathedral City plus other well-known butter & spreads (Clover, Country Life, Vitalite, Utterly Butterly), functional ingredients and dairy free products. We are hiring two sales representatives to support our efforts in expanding further into the food service sector, with a focus on generating new business opportunities and growing existing accounts for our entire product portfolio.
With existing relationships and data to support your success, you'll have a key role in driving business in channels we believe have substantial opportunities for us to deliver our portfolio of products into. This will be achieved by contacting end users to understand their requirements and develop the solutions needed to facilitate these. This is a role with the opportunity to have a career nurtured and developed, whilst also having the freedom to focus on unique and inspiring approaches to ensure our proposals stand out.
YOU'LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY:
- Engaging directly with product end-users, creating and presenting solution-led propositions in partnership with commercial, chef, and innovation teams to pull volume through our OOH customers.
- Undertaking market, customer, and channel research to scope out usage and application of propositions to deliver insight to inform and shape NPD/EPD.
- Engaging and presenting to regional teams to win new business and drive incremental volume through existing customer base.
- Attending exhibitions and trade shows to showcase our portfolio, generate leads, and interact with both existing and new businesses to unlock opportunities.
- Supporting projects and initiatives with a problem-solving mentality to unlock solutions for existing and new businesses.
YOU'RE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU ARE:
- Able to demonstrate previous experience in a sales/customer management role within FMCG, retail, or food service environments.
- Able to demonstrate identifying and unlocking new business through unique and innovative approaches.
- Experienced in managing and growing existing business with exceptional relationship building.
- Resilient and driven, with a track record of building strong cross-functional relationships internally and externally.
- Able to demonstrate a good level of commercial and business acumen, with the ability to utilize data and insights to generate recommendations.
