A Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of heavy machinery to perform tasks related to construction, excavation, material movement, and site preparation. Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Operation: Operate heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, graders, backhoes, and cranes to perform assigned tasks.
  • Site Preparation: Clear, grade, and excavate land according to project specifications and plans.
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport materials such as soil, gravel, and debris.
  • Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and perform basic maintenance on equipment to ensure functionality and safety. Report any mechanical issues or repairs needed to the maintenance team.
