Pertemps Education is working in partnership with a high-achieving and inclusive secondary school in Harrow to recruit a dedicated and engaging Spanish Teacher for a September 2025 start. The school is seeking a passionate modern foreign languages specialist to teach Spanish across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. This is an initial temporary contract from September through to July, with the potential for a permanent position thereafter.
In March 2025, the school was graded Outstanding across all five Ofsted categories, reflecting its commitment to academic excellence, inclusive practice, and staff development.

About the Role:
- Teach Spanish from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge learners
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level exams with focused teaching and feedback
- Contribute to the wider MFL department through planning, clubs, and enrichment activities
- Monitor and assess progress and support student achievement
- Collaborate with colleagues and engage in whole-school initiatives
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Spanish at KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5 (school placement experience considered for ECTs)
- Be a confident and engaging classroom practitioner
- Demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for language teaching and cultural learning
- Be well-organised, reflective, and committed to achieving strong student outcomes
- Communicate effectively and build positive relationships with students and staff
