Job Overview: An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and fully qualified plumber to take on the role of Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. This is a long-term, secure position within an established and reputable M&E environment. The successful candidate will support new build residential projects by addressing plumbing issues during the defect liability period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve plumbing-related defects and maintenance issues on live residential construction sites.
- Carry out routine maintenance and reactive repairs as required.
- Work independently or as part of a team to ensure plumbing systems meet required standards.
- Maintain clear communication with site teams and stakeholders regarding any required works or issues.
- Participate in an out-of-hours rota (every other week), with most issues resolved remotely via phone, and additional pay provided for time spent on call.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with health and safety regulations and company protocols.
