What you will do:
- Transport materials to and from customer sites and other local locations.
- Obtain necessary shipping documentation related to your route.
- Load items and orders into the truck, adhering to delivery schedules.
- Consolidate items and skids to maximize trailer space using a forklift or pump truck.
- Secure materials to prevent damage during transport.
- Deliver orders to customers’ facilities, construction sites, other branches, or warehouses using the most effective route.
- Unload products according to destination rules.
- Obtain a signature of acknowledgment of delivery.
What you will bring:
- Valid DZ license.
- Minimum 3 years of flatbed experience.
- Clean driver’s abstract (no traffic tickets, points, or at-fault accidents within the last 3 years).
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Dependability, reliability, and initiative.
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds regularly.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain it.
- WHMIS and TDG certification is an asset.
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification is an asset.
- Motorized Material Handling Equipment certification is an asset.
