The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board supports flexible working. There is a temporary top-up for Bands 2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top-up to the living wage of £12.60 per hour - £24,638 per annum. This will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2025/26 is confirmed. Please note that this vacancy may be withdrawn at any time should it be filled via the internal redeployment process.

Job Overview

A rare and exciting Band 6 opportunity has arisen for highly motivated Occupational Therapists to join our long-term conditions - neurology Occupational Therapy team. The post holder will support the team in enabling individuals, families, and carers impacted by a long-term neurological condition to access an enhanced Occupational Therapy service that offers highly specialised, evidence-based, occupation-focused intervention at a time that is most meaningful to them.

The role involves delivering a variety of occupational assessments and interventions in clients' homes, supporting condition management, anticipatory care, and helping clients achieve their goals. Regular supervision and support will be provided to develop leadership and clinical expertise.

The service is undergoing transformation, creating opportunities for service improvement and development of special interests in sub-speciality pathways, with support for developing the necessary knowledge and skills. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
