Are you an experienced Fire Sprinkler Engineer looking for your next opportunity? We are working in partnership with a well-established fire protection contractor seeking a skilled and motivated engineer to join their growing team.
The Role
As a Fire Sprinkler Engineer, you will play a key role in the servicing and maintenance of a range of fire protection systems across both commercial and residential sites. Your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and carrying out remedial works on fire sprinkler systems, dry/wet risers, fire hydrants, and hose reels
- Conducting inspections, testing, and performance assessments in accordance with British and EN standards (BS9251)
- Diagnosing faults, providing repairs, and identifying upgrade opportunities
- Supporting system changeovers and modifications
- Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and system schematics
- Ensuring all work complies with health & safety and industry regulations
Requirements
We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running with:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of fire sprinkler systems (BS9251)
- Hands-on experience with both residential and commercial systems
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- A full UK driver's licence
- Certification in fire protection systems is advantageous but not essential
- Flexibility to work across multiple site locations
- Familiarity with fire alarms and integrated systems is a plus
