Help shape one of the UK's most important fresh categories. We're looking for a commercially minded Seafood Category Manager to take full ownership of the seafood category. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where your decisions will directly impact product quality, availability, and margin.
You’ll need strong industry knowledge, a passion for seafood, and the confidence to operate across the entire value chain - from early-morning market sourcing to strategic category planning.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing the seafood category from sourcing and pricing to merchandising and supplier relationships.
- Visiting the market to monitor stock and ensure product availability and accuracy.
- Acting as a key contact for both suppliers and internal teams across Commercial, Operations, and Transport.
- Collaborating with the Commercial Director on category strategy and commercial projects.
- Driving quality, freshness, and sustainable sourcing across all products.
- Keeping up to date with seafood trends and consumer preferences to inform decisions.
