British American Tobacco has an exciting opportunity for a Media Partnerships Manager (FTC) in London, UK. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Media Partnerships Manager to drive growth and enhance our brand presence across leading eRetailer platforms, marketplaces, quick commerce, and supermarket chains with eCommerce stores. This role will focus on establishing, managing, and optimizing media partnerships, ensuring our media investments deliver high performance and align seamlessly with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will combine analytical acumen with hands-on platform experience to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS) and drive sales growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identify, develop, and manage strategic media partnerships with leading eRetailers and marketplace platforms (e.g., eBay, Glovo, Hyapp, etc).
- Develop integrated media plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g. End Market Activation and Key Account teams), leveraging performance data and insights to maximize ROI.
- Build the top-notch Media strategy aligned with the business goals to improve brand visibility and awareness.
- Lead the team and oversee the implementation and fulfilment of the Media strategy.
- Negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and ensure optimal utilization of resources across paid media channels.
- In collaboration with End Market teams, manage the end-to-end management of paid media campaigns across eRetailer/ Marketplace/ Key Account platforms, i.e. Sponsored Ads, Criteo Retail Media, and others.
- Develop paid media strategies tailored to eRetail environments, focusing on product visibility, conversion, and return on investment.
- Manage campaign planning, audience targeting, bidding strategies, and budget allocations based on sales performance data and media efficiency goals.
- Analyze daily performance data, generate reports, and deliver actionable insights and recommendations that drive continuous campaign optimization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with eCommerce trading, Activation, Key Account, Analytics, and Operations teams to align media partnership strategies with broader organizational goals.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to proactively recommend innovative media strategies.
- Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with eRetailer media platforms and tech partners to stay informed of new features, ad formats, and beta opportunities.
- Coordinate with creative teams to ensure ad assets are optimized for platform requirements and campaign goals.
- Continuously test and refine campaign variables (creative, copy, targeting, timing) to improve performance.
What are we looking for:
- Minimum of 5 years experience managing media partnerships or cross-media strategies (paid, owned, earned), specifically within eRetailers and marketplaces.
- At least 2 years of team leadership experience is mandatory.
- Proven track record of successful media campaigns and partnerships with measurable performance outcomes.
- Proven experience with platforms such as eRetailer Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, DSP, CitrusAd, Nectar 360, Dunnhumby and similar.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using performance analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Looker, Excel, PowerBI).
- Proficiency with eRetail analytics platforms is a plus.

- Excellent communicator in English, both verbal and written. Is well versed with business and data storytelling.
