We're now looking for a Logistics Planner to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Review production schedules and managing the shipping arrangement in accordance with customer requirements
- Management of outbound and inbound sea freight
- Coordination with 3rd party carriers throughout all phases of transportation
- Arranging and processing customs documents to ensure efficient operations
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Have previous experience in logistics, air freight & sea freight (minimum of one year)
- Possess numerical & IT skills (ability to use Excel)
- Have a working knowledge of incoterms (desirable)
- Can work under pressure and have problem-solving skills
Successful candidates must undergo an Access NI basic check; a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.
