DSV is recruiting a Training Specialist at our Mercia Park location. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company committed to providing quality, innovative value, and logistics services.

Provide training to increase knowledge of the CargoWrite WMS application across the UK. Assist the Training Manager with Lean Thinking programs, Key User Training courses, and other administrative duties as required.

Key Tasks
  • Deliver CargoWrite training, including migrations and new client implementations, across UK sites.
  • Evaluate learning and nominate individuals for further training.
  • Support Lean Thinking training across UK sites and understand Lean processes to support new operational procedures.
Duties / Responsibilities
  • Manage training schedules, liaise across sites, prepare course materials, and produce training data for quarterly reports.
  • Assist in developing e-learning tools.
  • Continuously update knowledge to meet standards, including Key User, Engineer, and Train the Trainer training, with bi-annual re-testing.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements to the Training Manager.
Skills and Competencies Required
  • Level 3 – Basic English
  • Successful completion of Plus People Management Skills
  • Operational role with a focus on productivity
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Positive and approachable attitude
  • Completion of Key User, Engineer, and Train the Trainer courses
  • Experience with WMS project lifecycle
  • Ability to analyze operational performance and knowledge of picking strategies
  • Experience delivering operator training
  • Aptitude for IT and continuous learning, adaptable to new systems and environments
