We are seeking a diligent and efficient Warehouse Picker to join our client based in Dagenham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that all items are handled with care and in compliance with quality standards. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of goods within the warehouse and requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety.

Duties:

  • Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
  • Using handheld scanners to pick orders.
  • Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring safe handling practices.
  • Conduct quality control checks on items before dispatch to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Maintain an organised work area, ensuring cleanliness and safety at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and efficiency within the warehouse.
  • Assist in stocktaking and inventory management as required.

Skills:

  • Proficient in materials handling with a strong understanding of warehouse operations.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes to ensure product integrity.
  • Competence in using handheld scanners.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Salary: £12.21/ph
