Michael Page Finance are delighted to be partnering a leading, high growth Fashion Retail / E-commerce business based near Kingston Upon Thames. The business has had double digit growth via acquisitions and new product categories. Founded in the mid 80's, the business has a rich heritage and has had strong sales growth across store, e-commerce, wholesale and third party and is positioned to grow further in the coming years. Bucking the trend in the retail sector, the business turnover circa £120m, has increased profit by 40% and is continuing to invest to drive growth.
As part of the growth, the business is looking to hire a Financial Controller.
Description
- Oversee and manage all financial reporting and accounting processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for the organisation.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow and implement effective financial controls.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes.
- Manage and develop a high-performing accounting and finance team.
Profile
- A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Extensive experience in financial reporting and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams within the accounting and finance department.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in the retail industry or a similar sector is advantageous.
Job Offer
