Based in Reading, Berkshire, our renowned Semiconductor client is recruiting for a Staff Analog RF IC Design Engineer to join their team. With over 700 employees across ten countries, our client is now looking to expand their Reading site. The Staff Analog RF IC Design Engineer will be working as part of a cross-functional team to deliver the next generation products from concept to volume production, taking ownership for the design, implementation and verification of RF / Analog blocks / subsystems up to 10GHz.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, verify and document RF/Analog blocks/subsystems (e.g. LNA, PA, VCO, PLL, mixers, bandgaps, LDO, DC-DC, ADC, DAC)
- Working with IC Layout Design Engineers to optimise design and layout
- Actively contributing to product definition
- Ensuring that designs follow industry best practice design flows, verification techniques, Design For Test (DFT), isolation, power optimisation etc.
The successful candidate will have:
- A BSc / MSc / PhD degree within Electronic Engineering or similar
- Established experience in High frequency CMOS RF design up to 10 GHz and / OR Analog design up to 2GHz along with a proven track record of designs in volume production
- Low power IC design techniques and design in CMOS in 40nm or smaller
