I’m currently working with an ambitious, fast-growing, tech-led legal practice that’s looking to appoint a Compliance Officer & Legal Operations (COLP) to lead and develop its compliance function. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring full adherence to regulatory requirements, fostering a strong culture of compliance, and supporting the firm’s strategic objectives by embedding best practice into operational processes. The COLP will work closely with the leadership team to design, implement, and oversee compliance frameworks aligned with both regulatory obligations and organisational goals.
Key requirements
- A qualified UK solicitor or legal executive with experience in a regulated legal environment. Previous experience as a COLP is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SRA Standards & Regulations, AML, and GDPR
- Proven track record managing compliance, risk, complaints, and audits
- Commercially minded and collaborative leader
