My client, an innovative, sustainably-minded Multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their already-established team of specialist engineers, near the northern, picturesque town of Harrogate.
Essential Criteria:
- A Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or other similar discipline
- Extensive experience of working with flood risk and drainage strategies
- Demonstrable experience of writing Flood Risk Reports, producing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs), and working with Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
- Outstanding working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (e.g., S104, S106, and others)
- Knowledge of the relevant software packages, including TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, InfoDrainage, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of working with a team of diverse individuals, providing mentorship and leadership to junior colleagues
- Demonstrable experience of developing and managing stakeholder relations
