My client, an innovative, sustainably-minded Multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their already-established team of specialist engineers, near the northern, picturesque town of Harrogate.

Essential Criteria:

  • A Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or other similar discipline
  • Extensive experience of working with flood risk and drainage strategies
  • Demonstrable experience of writing Flood Risk Reports, producing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs), and working with Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
  • Outstanding working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (e.g., S104, S106, and others)
  • Knowledge of the relevant software packages, including TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, InfoDrainage, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of working with a team of diverse individuals, providing mentorship and leadership to junior colleagues
  • Demonstrable experience of developing and managing stakeholder relations

It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to have the following:

  • Experience of managing projects or teams
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and other relevant 3D design software
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
